I, Gina Clyne, am the president of the Hyper Nostalgia Club and I encourage you all to become members. You may become a member with any purchase.

Hyper Nostalgia, an extreme nostalgia, a nostalgia that turns fanatical. This is an extreme love for things of the past. Let me ask you, do you find yourself romantizing and becoming overly sentimental, sometimes objectifing, people and things of the past? Do you find yourself trying to participate in experiences and memories that you are simply not a part of? Maybe even over idolizing outdated photographs of someone elses' family?

While identifying this enthusiastic market, I have created an opportunity for all of you to further embrace and fulfull these romantic urges. I started by focusing mainly on fusing family snapshots and 1" buttons. There are plans in the works for t-shirts, wall calendars, mugs, memo pads and hats.

This is a fan club. In all it's uncomfortable and self indulgent pleasure.

This project was founded from my own compulsion to collect and most recently, my compulsion to collect photographs that do not belong to me. These people lived in a time that can not be experienced now, and that I can not be apart of. In most cases these people are dead. But I still manage to keep the memory alive. I have in some sorts become an impersonal people collector. And I know I am not alone. So join the club.
